The Vestil HDC-905-IDC/460V Hydraulic Drum Crusher and Compactor is built for intermittent-duty drum crushing and compacting operations. Delivering 38,000 lbs. of crushing force, it reduces ribbed 55-gallon steel drums to a mere 6 inches in height within 25 seconds. The unit doubles as a compactor for contents inside 55-gallon drums by removing the crushing platen.
This model is engineered for low-to-moderate volume facilities, capable of approximately 250 drums per week, making it ideal where occasional but powerful crushing is required. Safety systems include a pressure relief valve to prevent overload, a door interlock system that disables operation unless closed, and an emergency stop button. A drip pan is included to contain spills and reduce cleanup.
