The Vestil HDC-905-IDC/230V Steel Hydraulic Drum Crusher and Compactor is designed for facilities with intermittent drum crushing and compacting needs. With 38,000 lbs. of crushing force, it reduces ribbed 55-gallon steel drums to just 6 inches in 25 seconds. By removing the crushing platen, operators can compact materials inside 55-gallon drums, giving two machines in one.
Built-in safety features include a pressure relief valve to prevent overload, a door interlock system that stops operation unless the door is closed, and an emergency stop button for immediate shutdown. Fork pockets aid in positioning, while a drip pan helps prevent oil spills.
