Personnel Winch for Tripods and Davits with Galvanized Steel Cable – FallTech

The FallTech Personnel Winch is a single-user mechanical winch designed for safe entry and exit in confined space applications when used with compatible tripods or davits. It features a 3/16" galvanized steel cable lifeline equipped with an alloy steel swivel snap hook, providing a durable and reliable connection for personnel use. This winch is intended strictly for personnel handling and is not approved for material handling applications.

The winch operates with a 5:1 gear ratio mechanical advantage and delivers an average lifting speed of approximately 12 feet per minute. An integrated secondary braking system adds an extra layer of safety in the event of primary brake failure. The unit includes a folding handle for compact storage, an integral mounting bracket for tripod and davit installation, and a 20" weather-resistant storage bag for protection during transport and storage.

Built with plated alloy steel drive and drum gears, the winch is engineered for strength and long-term performance. It supports ANSI and OSHA user capacity ranges from 130 to 310 lb and complies with applicable ANSI Z359.4-2013, Z117.1-2009, and OSHA standards for confined space entry and rescue operations.
