The JET JLP-A Series Lever Hoist is designed for demanding lifting and pulling applications, featuring a Weston-style double pawl system that distributes load forces across opposite sides of the ratchet gear for enhanced safety. The easy free chain design incorporates a no-load, two-step free chaining system that allows faster hoist positioning and efficient slack chain adjustment.
Needle bearings support the load sheave to reduce rolling resistance and promote smoother operation under load. The Grade 80 load chain is black oxide coated for corrosion resistance, while cast-steel safety latches provide greater durability than stamped alternatives and help maintain compliance over time.
Constructed with an impact-resistant all-steel body, the hoist is built for long-term durability in demanding environments. Additional features include a brake wear indicator for monitoring friction disc condition, a 360-degree rotating handle for confined-space rigging applications, an ergonomic grip for improved control, and alloy steel hooks that rotate 360 degrees and gradually stretch to indicate overload conditions. The hoist complies with ANSI/ASME B30.21 and HST-3 standards.
