The FallTech 7297T Personnel Winch is designed for safe and efficient entering and exiting of confined spaces using tripods and davit systems. This single-user mechanical winch features a 1/4" Technora synthetic rope lifeline with a swivel snap hook for secure attachment. Delivering a 5:1 gear ratio, the winch provides an average lifting speed of 12 feet per minute while maintaining smooth, controlled operation. A secondary braking system enhances user safety by backing up the primary brake in the event of failure.
The winch includes a folding handle for compact storage and an integral mounting bracket compatible with most FallTech tripods and davits. For installation, tripod leg brackets (7291A or 7291B) or the davit receiver adapter (65101DU) may be required. The unit is approved for personnel handling only and is not intended for material lifting applications. This meets ANSI Z359.4-2013, ANSI Z117.1-2016, and OSHA confined-space regulations.
