Its built-in cutter slices through the lid lip of plastic pails for easy removal, while the end hook quickly opens steel pails by rotating the lid lip. The opposite end is used to close and reseal steel pails by bending the lip back around the rim.

Equipped with a molded rubber grip handle for comfort and leverage, this rugged cast steel opener is an essential accessory for anyone working with 5-gallon pails. Not for use with UN-rated pails.
