The FallTech 83909TP5 DuraTech® Leading Edge Personal SRL is engineered to provide reliable fall protection in demanding environments while maintaining user comfort and ease of use. Its aluminum dorsal connector features a push-button attachment mechanism that allows quick and secure connection to the harness. The nylon fused EVA-covered energy absorber minimizes bulk and reduces back pressure during regular movement.
A constant-force main spring ensures smooth cable payout and retraction, while the calibrated pawl locking system is tuned to reduce nuisance lockups and support natural walking speed. The unit’s housing is constructed from lightweight, impact-resistant nylon polymer for enhanced durability. Dual galvanized steel cable lifelines are fitted with aluminum alloy rebar hooks featuring transverse load–rated gates, making them suitable for varied anchorage scenarios. Designed for overhead anchorage as well as tie-off up to 5 feet below the D-ring, this SRL supports users up to 310 pounds.
