The FallTech 8242AFD Arc Flash Energy Absorbing Lanyard is engineered for high-heat and electrical arc environments, offering enhanced protection with its dielectric dorsal snap hook rated for 9kV to reduce electrical conductivity. Kevlar webbing provides exceptional resistance to heat, sparks, and abrasion, while the Soft Pack polyester tear-away energy absorber with a Nomex cover ensures consistent and safe deceleration during a fall.
This model includes a steel 5k carabiner for secure anchorage connection and is fully compliant with ANSI, OSHA, and ASTM arc flash standards. Suitable for users up to 310 pounds.
