The FallTech 8242L Arc Flash Energy Absorbing Lanyard is designed for high-heat and electrical arc flash environments. Its Kevlar webbing provides superior resistance to heat, sparks, and abrasion, while the Soft Pack polyester tear-away energy absorber with a Nomex cover ensures consistent and controlled deceleration in the event of a fall.
A Kevlar choke-loop dorsal attachment minimizes electrical conductivity without the use of a metal dorsal connector, enhancing safety in energized environments. The lanyard includes a steel snap hook for durable anchorage connection and supports users up to 310 pounds.
