The FallTech 8242LB Arc Flash Energy Absorbing Lanyard is built for extreme heat and arc flash environments, offering reliable protection without compromising mobility. The lanyard features durable Kevlar webbing capable of withstanding high temperatures and abrasion. Its Soft Pack energy absorber, encased in a Nomex cover, provides controlled deceleration during a fall while protecting internal components from heat exposure.
A Kevlar choke-loop dorsal attachment minimizes electrical conductivity, making it suitable for energized work environments. The lanyard includes a steel carabiner with a 5,000 lb gate strength for secure anchorage connection.
