The Caldwell 2.5 Ton Manual Release Hook (Model RR-2.5) is part of Caldwell’s patented Rig-Release line, providing a safe and efficient way to remotely release rigging. Designed so it cannot release rigging while under load, the RR-2.5 connects directly to a crane or spreader beam and allows slings to be attached securely. Once the crane lifts, positions, and sets the load, the hook is released by pulling the rope manually or via remote control after the line is slack. Engineered for rugged outdoor use, this unit includes a rope guide for versatile release positions, a Lock & Capture mechanism that engages with minimal load, and an oversized bail for simple crane hook mounting. Rated capacity can be applied from either the Lift Arm or lower Strip Sling hook.
