The FallTech 83662D Double D-Ring Dorsal Extender provides additional over-the-shoulder reach, making it easier for users to connect SRLs and energy-absorbing lanyards. Its dual D-ring configuration allows for 100% tie-off during transitions between fall arrest devices, improving safety and workflow efficiency. Constructed with durable polyester webbing and equipped with a plated alloy steel snap hook for secure harness attachment, the extender maintains a 5,000 lb minimum static strength rating throughout all connection points.
As with all dorsal extenders, its use will increase the required fall clearance when paired with an energy-absorbing lanyard. The 83662D meets ANSI Z359.11-2021 compliance requirements.
