The Caldwell Model RR Manual Release Hook is a patented, safe, and efficient tool for remotely releasing rigging. It helps protect workers while making lifts more productive. Simply connect the hook to your crane or spreader beam, attach the sling(s), and lift. Designed so that it cannot release while under load when operated correctly, the Model RR allows the crane operator to set the load and then release the rigging once the crane line is slack, using a manual rope pull. Built for rugged outdoor use, the RR features a Lock & Capture mechanism that engages with very little load, an oversized bail for easy crane hook mounting, and durable construction. It supports both basket and choker rigging configurations, with maximum allowable rigging weights clearly defined.
