The Caldwell 1 Ton Manual Release Hook (Model RR-1) is a patented Rig-Release solution that allows operators to release rigging remotely, improving job site safety and efficiency. Designed so it cannot release rigging while under load when used according to instructions, the RR-1 attaches to a crane or spreader beam and accepts slings directly. Once the load is set and the crane line is slack, the hook is released by pulling the release rope manually or via remote control. Built for rugged outdoor use, the RR-1 features an oversized bail for easy mounting and a Lock & Capture mechanism that engages with minimal load. It is rated for both Lift Arm and lower Strip Sling hook use, and complies with ASME safety standards.
